Overview

ClearPath is a personal budgeting app. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. Last updated September 13, 2026.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and first name. You may also enter financial information you choose to store, including accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, bills, and categories. You type this data yourself. ClearPath does not connect to banks or pull statements.

If you use Household, members you invite can see shared accounts, transactions, budgets, bills, categories, and display names. They cannot see your password. Email invites store the invitee’s email.

Our sign-in provider may send confirmation or sign-in email to the address you give us.

How we use information

We use this information to operate ClearPath: sign you in, sync your budget data, and let you share a household with people you invite. We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or run analytics on it.

Where data is stored

Account and financial data are stored on our cloud servers. The website is hosted by our hosting provider.

This device may also keep display preferences, your sign-in session, form drafts, and — on iPhone — a local copy of your budget data so the app loads faster.

Your choices

You can edit or delete the data you enter in the app. You can delete your account in Settings → Account & Data.

If you share a household, leave it first. Delete is blocked while you are still an active member. After delete, your personal data is removed. Data the household still uses can remain for the other member. A display name may stay for attribution. We also clear data stored on this device.

Children

ClearPath is not intended for children under 13.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Access is limited to your account or household. ClearPath is not a bank.
